hello all,

ok i am having some issues with lr2 I have 5 outdoors. The temps here are in the 80s and the humidity is 60-70%. They get about 9 hours of direct sunlight per day and there is just a little over 12 hours of daylight per day. One is doing good and on its 3rd set of leaves after 15 days, the other 4 are like stunted or somthing. They have got past there seedling leaves (the round ones) but its like they are barley growing at all they have some true leaves but they are still on thier first set. I have them in some good home mix soil. and have only been watering about every two to three days. I would take some pics but it is kinda dark at the moment. Any ideas

i think you should water them any time you think the soil is dry by the roots, I would water every morning when I wake up and a little again at the end of the day, but it also depends on how big the plants are and how big the pots, or the holes are

Thanks for the info, I do water them when they need it about every two or three days. I do not know why they are not all growing at the same rate but here are the pics of them. The big one is 16 days from sproutand the three others are 12 days from sprout. They all get the same amount of water and light. I am wondering if I should super thrive them??? Any advice would be nice!

well you also have to think that plants are like humans no two are alike, so I think they all look pretty good, keep doing what your doing and they should turn out fine

Thanks doc, I am not so sure though I look at other peoples lr2 grows and by 16 days they are giant. I dont know maybe I am just paranoid. Anyone else got any advice?

Ok so here is another question, would it cause these plants to hermie out if I took the females inside and put them under lights for a longer light period? They are outside now recieving about 9 hrs of direct sunlight per day. 7am to about 430pm. the reason why I ask this is because I do think that if they are on 18 hrs a day they will grow faster. any thoughts?

9 hours of DIRECT sunlight is MORE than enough, because all sunlight even indirect is better than any artificial light you can buy, if 9 hours is all it gets thats a problem but i don't think thats what you meant

I'm currently growing lowryder also- mine are all small too, but i guess thats what they are suppose to do. I have 2 outdoors, and they are very small and 3 weeks old, but its been in the 60-70's here

No, I meant that they get 9 hrs of direct light from about 7 am to 430pm. The sun rises at about 6 and sets about 630pm. So they are getting over 12 hrs of light a day. pitbill, are yours about the same size? Do you have any that are larger than others? I did give them some superthrive lastnight and I think it made a diff, today I noticed some new growth. The temps here are in the 80's during the day and mid 70's at night.
