id like to know how large these plants actually get. Ive heard that their container size has a lot to do with it and they get much larger if in the ground which is the way id like to grow a couple of them if i can get some feedback from someone who knows a bit about these things

I have heard that they from about 12" to 24" but I dont think mine will get that big, I have them in 1 gal pots. We will see soon how they turn out, according to the info I sould have about 40 days left to harvest. I will be posting pics on here as time goes on. I do also have one in the ground in the yard, it is the same size as the smallest. But we will see how it turns out I will be adding pics of it soon.

what type of soil mixture does it have around the roots? and how much direct sun does it get?
thats right up my alley

ill be getting some autoflowering plants when this extra money comes in.

I have regular potting soil with perilite in it. I sure do hope it gets bigger though because if it stays the same size then there wont be much. Even since yesterday I can see that there are a ton more hairs starting pop up everywere. I am starting to think the others might be males but I will not chop them until I get some balls. I would like to pollinate at least one or two bud sites to get some more seed.

I have one of my original Lowryders in the ground. I dug out a bunch of crap soil and re-filled with MG organic mixed with perlite and a bit or vermiculite. My batteries are down now but charging. When the camera is back up I will snap a photo to give you an idea of size. It should be done at the end of the month.

cool about what size was the hole you dug(in approximate feet) may i ask?
im considering putting mine in holes that are 2x2 with a good organic compost soil mix. I figured that would let them get as big as they possibly can since my area gets full sun through out the whole day as long as its a clear day.
but ill appreciate the pics when you get the chance

ruffhauser . If you want me stop posting my shit, I will, but I keep getting asked questions. Well to answer Kochab, as you can see in the pictures, this plant is next to a tomato. So for the two of them, I dug about a 2x2x1 foot deep hole. I have another Lowryder in a container but the container should be plenty big for their little rood structure. But, the funky chicken plant is much shorter and only a week behind the tomato LR. There are short and tall phenos, so maby that is what is going on.

No desert I do not mind it all good, I am looking at your pics and like I said your lr2 looks alot more dark green then mine. I am going to put up some pics her in a min. I can tell the sex on two of them so far 1 female and 1 male the male actually has some leaf miner damage but he will be fine.

Remember that I have original Lowryder. If you look at the leaves closely, you will see a lot of veins which I assume is a trait of the ruderalis.

I looked at your pics, and I do notice that yours does have more viens. I am still wondering if I should take the female and put her under the lights for about 18 hrs a day. I also have some fox farm big bloom I am going to use with her. But anyways I am going to take that male and breed him since he is the tallest I am not sure about the sex on the other three, I have one planted with my tomato's aswell. I am hoping I get at least two females, then I can take the large one and breed it. excuse my blabbering went out lastnight and had one to many shots.
