So i started a new outdoor grow this is my third year both were lost due to vacations. i have a bend in the creek with a sort of half island they sprouted after i germed in 2 days so what should i do to only visit spot once a week? Mulch with straw nearby or leaves? or what can i do please help

im in pretty much the same situation, im going to try and get my hands on some water crystals(not snow) because they hold in the water an release it slowly into the soil, gonna get some of that and mix maybe a hand full or two into each plant's soil place
