First grow in Montana any locals with words of wisdom?

I'm not from Montana but the best advice I can give is, big holes with loose soil makes big plants.

montana. beautiful part of our country. probably the only state ive drove through and said sever al times "fuck this place is beautiful i should live here..." i know a lot of celebs have homes in the hills great falls i think? good luck with everything...i would think out there the sky is the limit

Most of the celebraties live near Bozeman. Like people said, fill a hole with good soil and make sure it stays watered. In the Western half of the state the summers get a bit of rain almost every afternoon, so you shouldn't be too bad unless you are in the east. Than I would just plant in the west as an excuse to get out of the east.

yea we dont get much rain where i live but im planting next to an irrigation ditch and will be looking at the plants on a daily basis.

I wouldnt recomend growing outside in our summer/fall becauase it still gets to about freezing at night.

We used to have a cannabis cup entry every year with a strain called gallatain green, and it was grown in the mountains up big sky.

so its def possible, however G.G was genetically modified to withstand the cold.

i know its not recomended but i know alot of people that leave their plant outside for 12 hours, then when it gets cold they bring em in.

hey i didnt mean to sound sketchy by that question i asked, i just meant like what region for growing), im from the southwest. It rarely gets below freezing during hte summer here so i think im going to do a guerrila grow up in the mountains. i think im going to start them outside in late may or early june
