Hey guys, what are the pros & cons of linning the sides of your outdoor grow holes with plastic

You're talking about container growing outside; smaller rootball, smaller plant, smaller yield.

does this mean... that this plant would got even bigger with a way larger yeild? because its in a small as pot outside... but roots have grown down way into ground so i cant even lift the pot... without trying to rip and tear roots...

nah man i think u will be all good,
cos the roots are growing into the ground so they are not getting
bound, as long as the ground soil is ok she'll be alright. just leave
her where she is and you could maybe water/nutes the soil
around the pot as well as the pot itself

Would you get less watter loss by lining your holes with plastic?

all of my holes are lined with black trash bags. i do it because i dont like the clay mixing in with my groing mix. also, the ground water in my area is very high in salinity. and it looks wicked cool! j/k.
