Default early misty planted in late spring, will they veg until fall???
Hello everyone, I got a question that I hope won't sound to silly;
I am now germinating few early misty seeds which I will be growing outdoors. It's late spring in here, days are getting longer and warmer. I will grow them few weeks under strong cfl's then throw them outside without conditioning (I don't have the means to do that, so It's kinda if it works, it works, if it doesn't no worries ) I suppose they will veg until the beginning of fall right? Is there anything I can do to force them to flower early? (outdoor plants) I don't want to watch them grow sky high because of security reasons and I want some quick bud, yield doesn't matter. Any advice?? Thanks already!!

the only way you can make them flower early is if you cover them over at 8 in the morning and 8 at night so the hours of light are reduced to 12/12, you dont need to condition your plants to go outside they should still be fine but maybe will be shocked for 2 days or so... if you dont want your plants to grow sky high ur planting at the wrong time... but there are alot of ways to keep them shorter by pruning, topping, bending/training or you can put sopported chicken wire of your plants and keep bending the branches so they grow horizontal and then when they go into flowering the buds will grow straight through the top of the chicken wire.... if you want a quick yeild and short plants you should go or an auto flowing strain like lowryder

hey i am growing early misty, in fact i just planted 5 of them in red cups just a few hours ago. i plan on them growing until they flower, but since it is an early strain i am hoping to get a harvest by early-mid september. who knows...we just have to tough it out until then.
also, this strain is supposed to be bushy naturally, so just hope for the best!

I'm thinking of planting them with 10lt (with the top cut off, 7-8lt) water bottles filled with planting soil. I will put the bottle inside the soil so this way roots won't spread any more and the growth will be restricted, what do you think?? by the way early misties have sprouted and they are coming along nicely
