For this years up comin season i was plannin on using some blood meal for vegation and some bone meal for flowering. Although as i keep researching on this website i keep hearing people talkin about using it as a tea. Is it better to just mix the bone/blood meal in the dirt or better as a tea. Im thinkin as a tea because then you don't need to transfer soils from veg. to flow. and you can just water with nutes as needed. THERE IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM THO, I have not a clue of how to make these into teas. Can somone plz teach me step by step how to make teas out of each? Thanks

Leaves of oak trees are very acidic. If composted lime is needed and if used in a tea PH should be monitored.

I would recommend mixing bone meal with the soil as it is a slow release fertilizer so you shouldn't try to make it into a tea. The blood meal would work for veg. growth because so much of the N is water soluble. You can also use the blood tea as a foliar spay.

Bone and Bloodmeal are terrible choices to make a tea out of.

First of all the Bonemeal will not dissolve in the water. It will just settle on the bottom.

And the blood will just make a gory mess that floats on the top of the water.

These amendments are for organic premix's that you add to your soil. Not for making tea.

If you want to make tea, your best bet is with guano or manure's

Im not sure about a tea but I have a 4 foot rocklock plant and a 4 foot Sharksbreath plant in the second week of flowering and i work a heaping tablespoon of bone meal into the soil with my clean fingers and then give them a light watering. (1/3 gallon of water per plant which are in 5 gallon drums) The idea is to use the small amount of water to help spread the nutrients to the bottom roots without loosing any meal out of the bottom of the pots. Ive noticed much of the unhealthy foliage has dropped off and the healthy fan leave are looking very green but the bud points are starting to lighten...and stink lol. (My normal watering is a gallon per plant every 3 to 4 days with daily spraying in moisture control soil) Ive been doing the same thing with a G13 Kush plant I have in veg growth and ive noticed some really cool results. Tell me about the tea???? Whats the ratio of meal to water and how do you prepare it.

it wouldn't it would fuck up your sprayer
You wouldn't spray your leaves with it, straight to the pot.

I just made a tea using 1/2 cup bloodmeal/5 gallons with a bunch of other ingredients. Applied it a week ago and the plants are doing great.

Just my opinion, but blood meal and bone meal are best used sprinkled on the soil surface and worked into the top inch of soil or covered with mulch. Leftover coffee makes a better tea than blood meal. Coffee grounds are great mixed into mulch.

I prefer Earl Grey.....teas schameez side dress let the earthworms do your work. Earthworm=#1 garden friend. Earthworms should be cherished...maybe not kissed so much or caressed but fold your arms with a prideful smile and watch and imagine how they are bringing down your compost down to your frosty mama's...Teas Schameez compost compost side dress side dress....

i usually make my perpartion before i plant any seedling...i always put into blood meal, bone meal, and garden lime into my soilless pots. it seems work well for me...later on you can feed your plant with fertilizers. if you see any problem with leaves, anayzle it and always sprinkle blood meal or bone meal but not near the crown or thich stem...and covered with mulch or extra soils just one inch...water gently and more water you will be fine, thats from my expreince...as for mix tea...its usually effective for hydroponics. better with airstone, if you got one.

Careful with the the coffee grounds though, they can alter pH.
