    Question Please recommend a strain

    Hey people
A friend is offering a deserted land in high altitude rocky mountainous region of the middle east to grow some grass. Temperatures get chilly even in august when the sun sets but very hot when the sun is up. Wind can also be strong at times. Altitude is 2100 meters and humidity is very low. I am looking for a strain that can survive these conditions. about 1000 meters away from the intended grow land, some villagers are growing hash plants that have a lot of male plants in between them. We found them out by mistake while eating cherries straight from the trees

    your recommendations please

Yeah, your Afghan and Pakistani strains will be your best bet. Tom Hill's Deep Chuck, DNA's LA Confidential, or Mr Nice's Devil come to mind.

The subcontinental ("indica") strains have all been bred for generations to grow in cold dry mountain climates.

That's what you want for elevated middle-east growing.

So anything from Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.

If you have close neighbors growing hash plants outdoors, chances are pretty good that those very plants will do well in your area too!
