Thanks for the comment guys
BOOBOO: I have thought through the entire process many many times. I have a large area to manicure, dry and cure the buds. My partner is like a brother to me and I am willing to put my life in his hands. I know this grow will be devastatingly hard, but I am willing to do this. I am not too worried about harvest time as I have mentioned before, I am growing early, medium and late bloom plants so I can even out the harvest work load. I just love growing, its not even about compensations of final product. Just the ability to look at your own babies give me a satisfied feeling. I have grown at this area before and even though it is semi sub-urban, it will definatly hold these plants. Males will be destroyed during veg cycle, plants will go out once the sex is known. Watering will be easier than most grows as my area is a little bit marshy and also has a constant stream running across the area. It will be a difficult grow for sure, but im sure it will all be worth it in the end. I will be trying to get more strains to work with. I am very interested in growing MDZAG's masterlow or blue stout. It would be an awsome side project to work on for production of seeds and what not. I will be trying to make fem. seeds this summer by the introduction of false herminization to the best looking plants This is a picture of 1/4 of the seeds I will be using. The other pic is of a Gold Skunk which i grew indoors for seed production. Very sturdy and strong genetics Last edited by 300zxfairlady; 03-06-2008 at 04:21 PM.. |

i'm think the same thing as you kinda... wel i was only going to do like 100 plants and hoping for atleast a pound off each plant but the reason i'm not going to is because unless you have a phat house to dry it out in your bud will rot... good luck i hope you post some pics and keep us all updated on the progress

Wait a minute. Not only are you planning to grow 420 plants near a highway in a semi-urban area; you're actually planning on having a grow this size within a couple of hundred yards of other growers? You say you trust your buddy with your life... how about these other growers? Do you trust them with your life too? Because that's exactly what you're going to be doing.
You found their sites easily enough; what makes you think they're not going to find yours? And how do you think they're going to feel about that? There's nothing I hate worse than finding some other doper's shit within a few hundred yads of one of my patches. Because no matter how good my own security is, the safety of my crop is now totally dependent upon how good that guy's security is, and if I found his shit, it probably isn't that good. I have actually walked away from good patches because I found another grower's garden too close to mine halfway through the season. With my crop, i don't have to worry about anyone ratting me out to Leo, because there is not one single soul on the entire planet who knows exactly where I grow. I do it that way for a reason. I don't know shit about this other guy - for all I know, he's some high school kid who told his whole class about his marijuana farm, and now half the cops in Illinois are taking turns watching it from a duck blind. And maybe watching my crop, too. It pisses me off, and if I weren't such a decent guy, I'd probably rip up all those other plants just to take away his reason for ever coming back to that area for the rest of the growing season. I'm sorry, man, but this is just plain loony. The security risks here are just insane. You're obviously not going to listen to anything the rest of us say, so I'll just wish you good luck and be done with it. The best thing I can say about this is that this is a benefit to those of us who take security more seriously. The easier it is for cops to find headline grows like yours, the less time they have to spend beating the boonies looking for guys like me. I thank you. |
