the Dr is tellling you right, better to have options as moving pots are hard w/o wheels. Don't forget drain holes.

never too late for a transplant man. if you do it right there will be little to no stress. i like to water the soil down good and let it drain than just turn it upside down and pop the whole pot shaped root ball out and plant it in a bigger pot. that way there is no stress at all.
