I would for sure get some straw and cover the whole spot around the plants, right on top of the cement. It will bring temps down significantly. Second, look into a simple bucket drip set-up. These are great, cheap, easy to build, fill it once a day, and you can put nutes there too.

I told you about the trimmers. They see 20 grows before and after yours. They are just there for the trees. I had that concern last year and the guy laughed and knew that's why I rescheduled so many times. I think that you will be fine but I understand the concern.

They don't make appointments, they just show up. Her dogs went nuts in March, dude was in the backyard scoping out the trees and said they'd be back in six weeks. Hah! They've done that to me too.

Did they show up and you told them to come back, or did they actually tell you when they were coming?

By the time flowering begins she'll be root bound. She might already be. When flowering starts let the pots get dry and you won't damage any roots. If her 10 gallon is going thirsty, she's drinking a lot. My jack herer in a 7 gallon hasn't drooped at all and I water every other day. Maybe instead of mulch 4-5 big flat rocks per pot. Just check the side of the road.maybe plastic over the soil and under the rocks.
I assume that everybody treats people like they like to be treated. So don't be mad at me because you treat people like an asshole.

I told them that I wouldn't secure the dogs until they scheduled an appointment with me. Dogs always works and they don't get paid unless they take the trees. Have her also ask about removing the trees completely so that they don't have to come out again. They gave me the option last year but I didn't have the time off to wait for them to do it.

Yeah, told them I wanted to know so I could secure the dogs. Removing the tree would be unlikely, it's a pine tree over a hundred feet tall.

We do have a lock on the gate now so they can't just enter the backyard without being
let in. Grow or not, I never cared for the fact they just enter your yard on their own. Last year when they evaluated the yard, the guy said he would note that there were dogs. But several months later, they just showed up in the back yard without knocking or anything

The survey crew is there and are SMUD or PG&E employees and have easment rights so there is nothing you can do about them. They don't have to let you know they are back there working. All they have to do is say they made an attempt to contact you. The trimming company has to have permission to enter the yard.
