Whats my strain?
I am a First time grower this season and I bought seeds off a buddy of mine.. neither of us know what strain it is but it is shorter and bushier,, so im almost guaranteeing it is indica.. the bud hasnt started to produce yet,, any suggestions on how i can tell what strain it is?

no he dosent.. I asked but he showed me pics of his last years grow and it is short and really bushy and the leaves are telling me it is most likely indica.
I have 5 plants that are the same strain growing. One is completely different . Even with a known strain you can have many different phenos or types. There is absolutely no way of knowing the strain from looking.

So this is something he's bred himself? It sounds like he grew some plants last year and one way or another pollinated some of them? That's a good sign. At least it is a "proven" strain that suits your climate if he's been having success with it. I was worried maybe someone sold you some bagseeds or something.
