    Default So i topped my plants...(pics)

    I've been LSTing my babies for about two months now and just recently stopped training the main tip, which in turn made it gain slight dominance again. I'm out of room to tie down so i topped em and am attempting to clone ...

    Question is do I remove the fan leaves right at the node below where I made the cut or no? I did it on one but just curious as to how you guys do it?

    The first two pics show the two plants and you should be able to see the difference if i uploaded it right ....thanks guys

    Btw they look like they're leaning and a little messy bc i just transplanted into the 5gal Smartpots and when I retied the tops down it wasn't the exact spots on the old plastic pot they were in...they've adjusted since

    You don't have to remove them, but you can (I do). Some times they'll block the light to lower growing tips.

    some do and some dont,,im a firm beleaver of not trimming anything as those leaves provide energy for your plant...
    just a pot head trying to save some cash with a little help from mother nature........and from one, pot smoker/grower,to another thnx for any advice given..heres one on me()...

    What's going on with all the perlite overkill? Is the soil heavy/clay-based with poor drainage?

    Its just a layer on top as a mulch to keep moisture in and slow evaporation lol pure FFOF underneath
