    Cool chasta 1st outdoor grow

Outdoor.jpg 90% it's a skywalker that or a pittbull . I also have 2 holy grail seeds i'm waiting on them to pop now . This girl has a little sunburn ? i think from when i first turned her outside . Other then That I think all is going well . I am going to move it further from the tomato and corn as soon as the veggies get taller . Also going to put into a 35 gallon tote soon . Any ideas on when i should do that transplant ?

So i just dug a test hole in my yard and it's all clay . I think i'm gonna have to stick to pots . I don't think my native stuff will drain well enough . how big should i go 35 or 50 gallon ?

even if its all clay, you can still dig a big hole and fill it with ur soil mix. I wud say BIG, fill it first with some bumper crop soil and then fill it with watever soil mix u use in ur pots. This will help disguise the plant as well. Since ur outdoors I wud also recommend you leave some of those veggie plants around it for camo.

Make the hole about 2 feet in diameter, and about 3.5 feet deep.

Exactly. And hoodrat kids probably wont find ur grow next to tomato plants and others.. and even if they do, if its in the ground it will take them that much longer to try and rip you, hopefully by that point your outside with a 12 gauge.

2/2 on the holy grail seeds both just broke the surface today . I know i should have started these in my room two months ago but i was busy . They probably won't get that big with the late start .

Junetwo.jpg Updated pic of my biggest plant so far . The two holy grail babies are just a couple inches tall and just got the 2nd set of leaves . How much bigger should i let it go before i move to the 35 gallon tote ? I'm planning to cut the bottom out of the 35 gallon tote and place it over some fish a buried a while back . wanted to try the maxsea everybody's talking about but closest retailer is an hour away . I'm thinking my botanicare line is going to be too expensive when the outdoor girls get big . Open to advise and thoughts . This is my first outdoor grow .
