First outdoor setup as a seasoned indoor grower, any advice?
I'm planning on doing a 6 plant setup this year, starting mid-June in near perfect conditions. Only catch is its an hour from where I live, but have full access anytime.
Here's my plans:
12" deep 6 plant grow bed with Sunshine Mix #4, runoff on one side, medium will be in a near constant state of moistness, which I've done before with Sunshine without issue
AN Heavy harvest summer then fall mix
14 Blumat watering sensors, hooked up to a 30 gallon trash can buried ~80% of the way up, and covered in shade, constantly topping off via chlorine filter/float valve.
Tap water is 35ppm, but will be even lower after I hook up chlorine filter, so maybe ~20ppm
I'm planning on using neem/compost tea for both root zone and canopy treatment to control PM/pests
Its on a southern facing slope at the top of a canyon pretty devoid of artificial lighting
It gets pretty windy mid-summer, but plants will be trained on a trellis to prevent damage
The only thing I'm concerned with is the time-release ferts, but I need something that sort of works no matter what, and I've been told over and over that HH just works, but open to advice on this of course. I'm currently doing liquid organic ferts and manual watering in my indoor setup, so this is new ground for me.
Would love to hear some expert advice before I spend a good chunk of time and hard earned money to get it going. Thanks.

i wouldn't use HH..but I like to be in control of what, when and how much i feed my girls... not hand over control to AN.... plus HH is expensive.... good luck...
