Are they outside plants?
i just notice yesterday that my garden is getting red ants and to day they triple of what there was yesterday i want them out how and what can i use
Are they outside plants?
mine are inside plants, and i occasionally see large red ants as well. i dont know what they are doing but i let them go.. never seen then inside only outside crawling on my box.
edit, if they are fire ants grits works. i use them outside for my fire ant nests i just pour grits on it and stir the nest up and they eat the grits and eventually die.
yes they are outdoor plants and yes they are fire ants
You need to find you why they are going there for??I had the same problem outdoors last year. After harvest I had fucking caterpillars!!
they leave there shit on the plants, and my ants where eating that shit up.Don't let moths around your plants, because they will lay eggs on the plants, full of baby caterpillars!!That was my first outdoor grow, and learing experiences.
Fire ants are protein eaters, they hate sugar. Try using aspartame, which is Nutra sweet etc...sprinkle it around. They will relocate somewhere else, molasses tea works as well...kitchen brand is fine. In real bad cases, diomatacious(don't ask me to spell it)earth works on all species of ants.
"There is nothing new under the sun".
im going to try that shit right now
thanks for the help this is my first time with a grow.
would real sugar work or will that bring more ants?
As far as I know ants like sweet stuff?
