epsoma tones
Anybody using any of the espoma tones outdoors this year? Or anyone ever used it for in ground plants? Think thats what im going with this year. Heard a lot of good stuff about it. It's my1st time going organic. If you've used it, did you mix it in the soil, or did you topfeed? And how'd it work 4 you? Thanks.

ive used many espoma products and i love them all. i used plant tone for veg last year and i mixed it in prior to planting and then topfed every two weeks instead of once a month. i used 4 1/2 cups plant tone per cubic foot of soil prior to planting.

4 1/2 cups? Seems like a lot. Did your soil have any other food in it before you added the plant tone? And did you use the tones for flowering?

I've used Epsoma before as well but I used 3 cups per cubic feet. Worked fine, no issues. I made my own soil mix and added epsoma to it then mixed native soil with that.

i know it may seem like alot but their package states the ratios of : 25 parts soil to 1 part plant -tone. if you do the math it adds up and from my experience with it, it works. my soil didnt have any other nutes in it, i just added coco to native soil and mixed in the plant tone, lime and azomite. i used the tomato tone for flowering and it works but i but a high P guano along with the tomato tone would be way better.
