Thanks guys...I knew I should post and ask......and Hodgegrown, thank you, I started to listen to a friend who took me on as a student, so much credit goes to him as deserved, and also to luck!!!
I have been involved in cannabis since I was 9 years old(it was all around me in the bay area), mostly a rec user , supporter and , tried to help where I could, but now I want to grow and so many years later here i am, again thank you all ,you all seem to be a great bunch,and i do hope I fit in !!! Wheezer.....DO IT MAN!!!!! I need that grape ape pheno of that Sugar Ape , which is just AO & Grape Ape, people went crazy for that stuff, I barely have any left and lost the cuttings we took , or it was given out free to local patients, we cant recall or find!!!

What's wierd too is I was just telling my wife this morning that I need to cross AO with my GDP or Grape Ape.....

Here's a little sub-set weird... Just returned from SEA where I made a special cross-town pain in the ass trip to pick up Blue Dream clones at a certain dispensary that carries TGA Subcool to see if they'd gotten Agent Orange in yet! Sadly, even tho they have TBA Subcool seeds, can't get Agent Orange, so I will break down and order by mail because the traits of those two strains seem too good not to grow them. Nowhere near the skills to hybridize the two....just hoped to smoke them in the same bowl! (The clones are gorgeous, tho.)

Really looking forward to meeting all you talented horticulturists on 4/20. It will be such an amazing learning adventure! cheers, mg

Labeling!!!

How do the pros label things start to finish? Do the labels transfer when you pot up? Harvest? Cure? How do you manage from seed to jar?

Things unraveled for me during harvest...but clearly there's an established way of keeping track. I use popsicle sticks (friend who survived salivary cancer is an unending supply) for starting seeds and up to gallon pots, then duct tape on the containers during grow, and label in ground plants on the root feeding tube. But, I hit the wall trying to keep track once I chopped. Stapled paper around branches, they got lost, and we're smoking a lot of pot luck. I know those that donate to dispensaries have tried and true procedures and hope they'll share!

I'm growing 3 strains this year.....
4-Medijuana's which finishes up the 1st half of September.
4-Mad Purps which finish up the first part of October.
4-Sr-71 Purple Kush which finishes up the middle of November.
Makes things easy to keep tract of that way.

I'm definitely smarter this year! Last year I was giddy at being legal to have 15 plants, and grew 15 strains. Never again. All the indicas ended up being labeled "Lavender". I was more organized as the sativas ripened. None could go to dispensary with reputable representation.

Oh yeah...that lesson, too....the never ending harvest. I learned a lot last year
