So this is my first outdoor grow. I am looking for just a few plants (lets say 5 females). I want to keep it small to avoid detection. As always, I am looking to order a strain, I'm trying to pick one but am having trouble deciding on one in particular. Requirements are that it needs to be hardy, I live below the 45th in Vermont. I want it to be able to be able to finish before first frost which is around begining of October. I have been visiting lots of seed sites and in particular I am looking at:

Highgrade-seeds.com specifically their HGS Supermix which contains: Black Pearl, Super Bud, Monster Bud, Cluster Bomb, Brainwreck, Avalanche & Purple Cindy.

Nirvana.com's Early Special which, I hope will be able to finish early (go figure).

This would be just for personal consumption of myself and a few friends. (of course they don't know I'm thinking about growning!) So I'm looking for quality and easy of growth.

So should I go with buying from both places, one or what? Any personal experiences with the bud? Any ideas to help?

i'd go with an early strain. thats what im thinking of doing this summer.

Green House Seed Company Feminized Arijans seeds that can be ordered from a diffrent site.

Yeah that's what I should do. Early is the way to go. Feminized seeds would be seed to not have to worry about that male thing. I gather there is a lot of variation with the early strains, any growers favorites?

if you get autoflowers you don't need to be so conserned about males pollinating your crop because males show sex before females, around week six from seed.
