It's hunting season.
I should have known that deer would love pot as much as people do. I keep having deer eat my plants and it's really pissing me off. Does anyone have any good tips to keep deer away from my plants without having to build a fence around them?

Bring several large coffee's with you out in the woods and start drinking...you'll be pissing up a storm...make a perimeter of piss around your plants to ward off the deer...
You can also take garlic powder, or fresh garlic that you grind up and spread that around the area as well. Also smash a few dozen eggs around the area...the stink makes em go away...
you can also get some deer repellant: http://www.amazon.com/230-Deer-Rabbi.../dp/B004MPKF5Y

I always spread some hair around from the barber shop .. does the trick up where i live , deer repellant is good too but has a habit of drawing small critters and bugs in if you use it too close to your plants..
I don't pretend to be a pro .. I just love to grow ... and my methods work for me ..........

One of my spots has a very high population of white-tails. They feed, sleep, and probably mate within 25 yards of my plants every year. However, this spot also has a ton of native wildflowers among other food sources. Their trails are easy to spot b/c they inevitably lead to a water source, I plant far away from those b/c their clumsy ass hooves are a bigger problem for me. Deer can be discouraged by placing twine at both a 18" and 3 foot ht. I used to do that before I moved that site by tying around trees repeatedly.
Note: Do NOT using fishing line to rope off a grow site...when the sun hits it you can see that stuff a mile away.

just use chicken wire to make cages around them until they get over about 1-2 feet tall
deer look for the small tender plants and they wont be interested in your girls once they get bigger
