Hope this hasn't been asked too many times!

Last year I planted Early Misty as early as possible, about the end of April. Kept one female and it didn’t start flowering until September. By that time it was over 8’ tall; and a rain and windstorm ripped off the top 7’. All I got was a couple of bottom branches for my efforts. Pretty good stuff, but I think it could have been better.
This year I am considering planting about the 1st of July. Would still have 8 weeks before the days shorten.
What do you think, would the size be smaller & the potency be as high? Would the buds be as big?

well just choose a hardyer strain...kush or haze of some sort...and instead of letting it grow out that big... top it when it reaches 2 feet back down to 12 inchs and keep doing that soo it bushes it out...that or you could supercrop the guy by bondageing the fuck out of it and tie the whole guy down....that way you will not stop the growth anything and will be doing a outdoor sog....

Where do you live? I could put a plant outside right now if i wanted.

i think you should still plant half way through may and like the other guy said , you should find a more dense strain-goodluck
