Long time since I've seen you here. Looking forward to that pork butt your bringing, if your hauling it from the bay area I know it must be special!
Going to be a GREAT time, sooo looking forward to this BBQ, trying to get this harvest wrapped up this week. Talked to TLD today, he may be coming up as well to the BBQ.

I haven't been paying attention. If I bring a big pot of beans and rice what are my methods of heating it up? Keep it in the pot? Microwavable container? Crockpot? Or pack it real well and hope it stays warm?

Gastanker, both the camper & trailer have full kitchens. Gas stoves & ovens. We will have generators running, so we will have electricty. Also, BBQ's & a bon fire! We should be able to heat up them beans.
One hint we would use driving in Mexico is, wrap your food up in tinfoil & put it on your engine block. When you get where your going, dinners already cooked!

We would do the same thing out in the woods when logging..... make burritos, wrap in tin foil, and re-heat on the engine blocks of the machines working. Flash backs now jj......lol

Wow.. another logger that cooked on the engine of a 528 or D7? We are going to get along just fine. Many years here running skidder/cat... I can smell my burrito's burning on the engine block now
