ok here it is..im very new to this..i got 4 seeds germinating in the ol paper towel. 1 is doin great with a tail of lets say a half inch..1 is'nt cracked at all..and 2 are cracked with very slow progress..im getting soil today(with perlite,some compost stuff,pretty much organic soil)i got 4 23watt CFL's and a closet with about 7 feet in hieght and 2 1/2 or 3 feet in width..i got paper cups to start with(still gotta get pots i dont know what size)i got a lil fan heater that gets pretty hot on max and a reg. fan also...i have no idea where to start or what to do..im gonna need some step bye step info like on exactly what to do(read the growFAQ and it didnt give info on how to do all of this from the VERY beggining)..will give pics from the moment i get sprouts to the moment i smoke the finished product..SO PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE OUT!!!!!please be specific and any comments will be really appreciated...BLUNTS UP!!!LETS DO THIS PRO'S!!!thank you so much

So how big is your growspace exactly? You mentioned height and width, what about length? As far as pots go a 1 gallon pot is usually a sure bet for a new seedling, it won't take too long to root and you won't have to transplant right away.

If you need anymore help I'll be stopping by frequently, helping people grow gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside ...kust kidding, but I will be around.


Why didn't you start a grow journal? You're not growing outdoors are you? You mentioned lights so...?

well im not sure about the space exactly(no measuring tape!!)and why are the other seeds germinating so slowly??thae benn in the paper towl foer like 4 or 5 dayz now..1 is progressing normally

ok.. i just got back from getting my soil..tell me if i got the right stuff..the brand is EXPERT GARDENER.. on the bag it sais "organic mix all purpose potting soil"..it sais it feeds the plant naturally for 3 months.heres what it has in it.."canadian sphagnum peat moss,composted organic matter, plus perlite, "..it sais it promotes excellent drainage,aeration, and nutrient retention....its a product of canada..has a sticker that sais that...for later on i got "jobes plant food spikes"they are these little sticks that go into the soil..sais its for beautiful house plants..it is 13-4-5..but thats for later..the soil is 6-9-6...so for the pro's out there..did i get the right shit...if so explain how i start this process of growin please.....thank you guys1!!!!

Yo ur soil has to much nutes for this stage I think. I usally use seedling soil. Has less nutes. Then when they get like 2-4 sets start feed or transfer. Killed by kindness , sounds like my first grow
