Late Canadian Outdoor - Chemo Iranian and Endless Sky

Hey all, started this batch really late. I have 20 Endless Sky and 20 Chemo's from www.drgreenthumb.com .

Started the beans on June 30/11. Used the wet paper towel method in tupperware containers. Use warm distilled water, dampen one sheet of folded paper towel, place in bottom of tupperware, space seeds out evenly as shown in pics, place more damp towel on top of seeds. Make sure container is air tight.

39/40 germ rate.... fantastic.

Beans have now become seedlings, and are in 16 ounce beer cups, using Pro-mix BX. Gave a very light (less than 1 mm) shot of superthrive with last watering, seemed to like it but who knows.

They are currently growing under a 600 watt mh, i use a 400 cfm fan to pull heat from the light out of my tent which is then vented out a window.

Also, the picture of the bigger seedlings are some trainwreck a buddy gave me which are a couple weeks old.

Anyway, I will be updating this as much as possible. So feel free to ask questions and join in some learning.:-P:-P

Everything is looking official. Good luck to ya. While it's better late than never, I personally would have used some cheaper seeds and saved the greenthumbs for next year when you can get the full potential out of them because unless you have a hook up with them, it looks like you spent a small fortune on seeds!

I just ponied up the cash a few weeks ago for Endless Sky as well. Its a quick flowering BIG yielder it says. Mine are a tiny smaller than your big ones in the party cups. I'm looking forward to see how yours progress versus mine. Indoor vs Outdoor, too.

I bet the $800 in seeds made you want to puke a little. :) Mine had a 7/11 germination ratio and one looks like a mutant right now, probably kill it. Thankfully the 7 will become mommies and then whoever wins that contest will bring it down to 3 mommas of Endless Sky...........

Good luck man will be watching!

If you look at the possibilities for yield/price of seeds it really doesn't matter lol. 15-20 dollars per fem seed? You think you won't make a profit off of a 15 dollar plant? I'll use a 30th of my earnings from this year's crop to by beans next year. NO POINT BUYING BAD GENETICS!

Thanks for popping by those guys, appreciate it, stay tuned :).

I just finished a crop of 19 Endless Sky plants. There have been numerous complaints about this strain lately but I wanted to try it, hoping for the best. I grew it out and it was my worse grow in over 3 years. I harvested at 70 days and it still need 1-2 more weeks to finish. It was touchy early on nute wise, the buds finished out light and airy and overall weight was low, the buzz is no more than an 8/10 potency, the seeds were expensive...... I could go on. Overall, a very disappointing grow. It has been reported that Dr. GreenThumb lost the parents and basically was starting over making new seeds and wasn't able to duplicate his previous E.S. success. Doc has stopped advertising the strain in his ads and I think it's on it's way out. You can read my grow report on one of the other sites- do a search under google and it will show up. Sorry for the bad news guys......

I read that too, after buying the seeds and germinating them. <G> We'll see how it goes. If the seeds are faulty and not as advertised I am pretty sure Greenthumb will take them back and replace with other strains. About 2 years ago I had a problem with some Iranian G-13's or something, cant remember the exact strain, and they shipped a new pack of seeds free of charge. If it werent for that happy customer service incident I wouldnt really have recommended them. I like them and Attitude right now. Between the two aint many strains you cant get. :)

Nice i got 9 iranian short seasons going right now and for the most part everything looks good, couple odd looking plants but very well could be my fault. Either way the doctor is a highly regarded breeder, besides this endless sky scandal, and hopefully we will both be pulling tasty nugs this season

That sounds rough bro.. Almost too rough. I find it hard to believe that they are as bad as you say. Why else would he be listed as one of the best breeders in the world right now? My master kush from homegrown fantaseeds turned out absolutely horrible but that was user error I believe as they got an incredible amount of heat stress early on in flower.

Sorry about the time it took to update people. Life is crazy right now.. super busy.

My first set of plants (Chemo Iranian) are doing fantastic. All very healthy. About half are starting to sprout up female hairs.. I'm kind of sad about this as they aren't that big.. but that was my fault because I didn't get them out untilabout June 20th.

Now, this second set of plants (chemo and endless) are also doing quite well. They have started their first bit of nutes, I am feeding with Fox Farm - Grow Big for now.. I am not assuming they will need much nutes as they are planted in very very fertile farm land.

Thanks again everyone for stopping in, feel free to ask questions.

Hows those endless sky? Mine are about 2.5 weeks into veg and around 8" tall. Nodes are really short and tight together, the tightest I've ever seen on a plant..... Curious how yours are as well!! Thanks <3 kitty

Kitty, my endless sky also have quite close nodes. I see a lot of variation between pheno's of the Chemo Iranian, but I'm sure they will all be excellent. Every one of my more mature plants from my first stage of outdoor this year are quite stinky. Here is a pic of my Endless Sky, it isn't great but is one of the only ones I took before they went in the ground.

This guy has always been rough on this strain for quite awile. And he talks like he knows everything about the strain but it's just that he's very unhappy hes not an advanced enough of a grower to grow it. I grow this strain exclusively & I love it. I flower at about 16" and I get roughly 4 1/2- 5 oz a plant. Can't say thats a crappy strain but you can't have everyone happy all the time. Either you can or ya can't

I'd like to say hello and try to figgure what ya got going. I've never heard of that Endless Summer till I came here, or this Chemo. Hope ya dont mind if I tag along and see what they do? Hello, this thread started in the summer! Results were bad because they went out way too late.. Will be doing big outdoor things next year. Message if you need any advice on outdoor strains I have worked with several.

Here's my recent email from That Canadian regarding this thread:

"Hey, I was checking on an old thread I made -
Late Canadian Outdoor - Chemo Iranian and Endless Sky which is me growing doc gt's strains. You had a really negative comment and I didn't believe you at the time.. Now I do. My plants turned out horribly. The chemo iranians were fucking autoflowers and budded at like a foot tall each.. ludacris I tell you. I tried talking to doc and he denied it and didn't call me back after our first phone call.. fuck em."

I'm sure the GreenThumb shills wills pipe in here too to refute this persons grow too but as you can see, others are just as unhappy as I was. I guess he doesn't know how to grow either. We're all starting a new movement: BOYCOTT GreenThumb seeds
