Hey all im new to the site and i just was wondering a few things im gunna start my first outdoor grow this coming summer. I'll be getting some hollands hope seeds and my intent was to grow those indoors and clone them and put the clones outdoors. When growing the mothers would i need to switch to 12/12 light to show signs of fem/male? Or are there ways to tell before flowering? Also when the time comes to put the clones outside would i be better off to wait until the temps and everything were closest to my indoor temps as possible? Thanks a lot

vegg for 2 week, then put into 12/12. find out sex.
then put back into vegg, wait a few more weeks then clone, whaen the plant is big enuf.
or
get some fem seeds, they should be more stable out door.
but it depends how many plants you want?.
yes so start indoors in early spring, and get you plants ready for when its time to plant out.

is it warm in your part of the world, anyway good luck, sounds like you have it covered.
what lites are you going to use? for vegg. if its warm where you are you could even vegg in a green house or windowsill when the days get longer, and warmer.

The high temp today is -6 . I'll probably just use some 6500 cfls for veg. im hoping to start within a month i think ill have plenty of time before all of the frost is out. The reason im going to clone is so i can make sure i have all female out and as many as possible.
