I live in Vancouver BC, if I purchase clones now, or within this week, and get shit rollin will it be a waste of time because its too late? When is the absolute latest date (estimation) to plant clones here in vancouver bc? Obviously, Im still very new haha. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks RIU

Depends on where you are in the season there. I am not sure about BC but in Cali I was able to pull 7 oz's off 5 plants in 5 gallon buckets that went out in late July and I harvested in mid October. I am sure that I could have gotten more but that was good for my very first grow. :D Good luck!

You're in OK shape. If you get clones right now, since we don't have the equinox till June 24th (could be 23rd), you would get about 5-9 weeks of vegging max. Note the Huge disparity between 5 and 9. Why you ask? My neighbors grew Pot in Alaska (Which By the way is your exact Latitude) and the days are very long there. Godzilla sized pot. I heard a Redwood actually tell a pot plant, "Man, you're a tall mother fucker!".

I have seen a 6 inch trunk on a pot plant.

Here's your real problem. STRAIN. Make sure you get a strain that flowers quick. About 5-9 weeks is your window. If you get White Widow for example, and September is cold, you're buds are gonna have to be harvested too soon.

Much better people than me here on RIU that know strains. I'm not that guy. But I sure hope this helped you.
