My First Outdoor Grow
Honestly this is the first time I've grown anything in over ten years and im hoping that i dont go to jail >,<( if anyone knows what the laws in california are regarding growing in my backyard that would be sweet!) . We are growing 10 plants in ground in 2' x 2' holes Ive made rings out of chickenwire to line my holes to protect from gophers ( ive killed 9 this last 2 weeks )
Ok so here we go! Ive got Bubba Kush and Grape ape clones currently under 18/6 light cycle and I'm feeding them water / mexican bat guano . I intend on sticking them in the ground in a week. out in the garden ive got a mixture of potting soil , sandy loam, steer manuer and perlite with a dusting of chicken manuer. I'll add more pictures when its time to transplant.
any input would be great as im flying a little bit blind here >,<

not sure of your laws in cali.
sounds like you got your shit together though personally for outside use ive never liked manure draws in cutworms seems like here in north east us.but this is just my experience with it.
plants look a little spindly make sure a hard rain dont kill em

thanks for the input
thanks for the imput , should I start topping these then ? I intend them to be bushes and dont really want them to get over 5'

I'd say not to top yet. Wait until you're ready to put them outside, then top.

So Ive been rotating these guys daily so that they stalks have to grow twords the light and it seems to be improving the thickness of the stalk.

Hey man, I'm in the same area as you are. You need to get a Drs. reccommendation. Then your allowed a total of 12 plants, 6 in flower and 6 in veg. So far nobody has bothered me . Good luck , Peace, jethead

If you want your plant to be a bush i would suggest you either LST it or supercropping, topping will turn your plant into a monster outside....trust me lol i measured the amount of times i cut my plant last year, i topped it once and if i let it go all the way it woulda been over 17 feet tall

i would of used smaller wire then chicken. something with 1 inch holes.
but they should be fine.
