Ive scouted out some totally awesome places to grow. I'm planning to plant in late spring, so the plants grow over the summer, and give me some good harvests towards the end of summer.
I have a few problems. My area is very built up with pigs (feds), i get stopped and searched a lot (Mainly, due to the fact that i am a black male, my white buddies, never get stopped) But that's fine, i have become quite good at hiding weed on my person. The night time is probably even worse, there are one or two police patrol most of night. I am not risking that. My chosen areas are very hidden, so amazingly hard to get to, that i am pretty sure nobody has been there for ages. So starting the grows indoor, and transporting them is out of the question. My only possibilities, is to set up the area, then plant the seeds. My question is, will planting the seeds, directly into soil outdoors (will be good soil, no other plants withing 4 foot, they have been cleared) cause any problems? Will the seeds grow fine? Does it lower my chances of germination? Cheers. Last edited by KingOfBud; 01-03-2008 at 02:09 PM.. |

Always better to start your sprouts indoors until they are sturdy enough to stand on their own and have a decent root system. If this isn't an option, you might want to fabricate a small rudimentary greenhouse at the sight to protect your sprouts until they harden off. If you have tons of seeds, it is ok to start directly in the ground, but expect some to die and half to be males.

for best results Germinate at home, grow them for 2-3 weeks then put them out you'll have a better chance at them living then just leaving the seeds in the ground and hoping they will germinate. |

your going to have bigger problems weeding out the males.....thats why clones are perfect for gorilla grow...if you plant seeds in the ground you will end up with bud.....but full of seeds and males and hermies...lots of problems..but thats just my 2 cents.

10 seeds? Sounds like he paid for them, hopefully top dollar. Shouldn't have hermie problems and worse case scenario you get a hell of a lot more seeds to start with next time.

Hell. I would settle with 3 females. I'm growing these all summer. Anybody got any estimates for a yield size? I know there are many factors and whatever. But, what do you reckon?
