Hey all, its time for starting up those seeds and cutting those clones to have a successful outdoor harvest in the land of short flowering times!

Here in MN it is crutial to have short flowering time cannabis plants or prepared into force flowering and shock ripening!

Lets see what 2011 has in store for us all and lets make this a informational thread with no bullshit!:leaf:

-22 this morning, -29 with windchill. Makes me ready for spring and the start of the growing season! I'm planning on starting my first outdoor grow this spring. I live on our family farm of about 1000 acres so I will be making a few smaller plots spread out over the land

It's all good except for my camera skills. Using a Sony Cybershot and the Flower Lab Lights are playing hell with me. My Nikon S60
got run over by the dually and this Sony is a real pain in the arse.

Both labs are up and pumping. I should get off my lazy butt and harvest a plant thats ready but another day or so shouldn't hurt her.

You peeps out in the midwest are nutz putting up with that cold shit.

I wanna see snow I drive an hour. I want to see the ocean I drive an hour. The desert is only 2 hours away.

Life in SoCal.

77f today and Sunny.

Such is life.

Well now I'll tell ya,,,,,,

Start the veg in January inside. Plant em end of April beginning of May, weather permitting. Harvest in October. Weather permitting.

It was all bag seed from the Mexischwag we smoked at the time but it did pretty good up in da woods. Deer were the main
culprits. Until my cousins showed up with their .22's and muzzle cans. Nothing says lovin like fresh backstrap fried up in butter, garlic and onions. Good eats.

And it was not as built up back then. Craps sake I used to hunt deer, ducks and geese just north of W. Co. Rd. I. and between lexington and hwy 49. And the 49'r was the place to hang.

Some old guy that lived on the north end of turtle lake used to raise geese and ducks. In the fall he'd blow a coach's whistle and the sky would darken with birds.

Dem were da daze.

Ya better plan yer grow cycle in da nort woods eh?
Not much of a grow season for mary jane up dere.

You can do it but veg inside and transfer em after the last frost. Depending on the strain you'll need all of the summer and sometimes up to the first frost in October before they are ready.

Not like out west where I'm at. Christ sakes, I've had Thai that wanted to grow to over twenty feet. I had to trim them three times, three feet off each time and they still went over thirteen ft.

These babies were falling over when the stakes came out.

Well shit.

Unless you have the parental units blessings, I'd ditch the inside of "their" house idea.

There are some Rules to live by when Cultivating.

I don't mean to be a dick, but depending on where you live and "it's" status
yer grow could jeopardize the home unit.

My ol' man caught me back in 1971 with a few plants, kicked my ass and called me an addict.
Till the day he died I was a "hophead" to him. 3 siblings that consumed coke and alcohol like candy, older brother that dealt coke for a living and me and my lil' girls were the big bad wolf in the family.

Keep yer grow on the low-low. Tell nobody. Tell no one. Tell nobody.
And do not put yer parents at risk. And tell no one.

Did I mention not to tell anyone? Just in case.

TELL NO ONE.
