there are pro and cons for seed and clones.. seeds they grow with more vigro and are largre plant (if that is what your needs are).. clones the female thing, they are shorter ... i have also heard plant grown from seed matures 2 weeks earlier. so any budy have reason to favor one to other

Great topic weezer..
A lot of people that switch to clones quickly forget the amazing SEED.... for my new book, I was able to watch a SEED plant grow adjacent to 2 CLONES.. the seed plant was amazing and in the end gave a larger yield... The fan leaves were much larger and I did find the seed plant more gratifying to WATCH... That being said... CLONES give great consistency (sex, size, yield etc) and take guessing out of the grow game.. and bring more BLING to your wallet lovelovelove |

Cool topic.
I use both; as the combo provides the best of both worlds. Clones are predictable and more profitable (time and money wise.) You always know what you are going to get. Seeds are much more adventurous because you never know for sure what you are going to get. Surprises both good and bad are in store for you! Seeds are more fun...because you might discover a new "miracle holy grail plant" due to the mysteries of genetics. Each plant, even within the same strain is somewhat unique. Even a stabilized strain will show a certain range of differences.

I have posted these pictures dozens of times... this is a plant that was started from seed and flowered on day 15... it only had 4 nodes...
You can see it harvested 3 ounces.... I think it is a big misconception that CLONES "always out preform seeds" in terms of turn around time... CLONES are more likely to out perform in terms of YIELD WEIGHT to DAYS in the GROUND ratio... BUT it is not 100% Clone management still needs to be dialed in BY a GREAT grower who pays attention to the details.... MOST people, spend way way to much time in the VEG stage. If you are going to over veg clones, then you are better off growing from seed.. I used to be one of these people.. It takes a few grows to realize, JUST how fast ONE can turn a plant from VEG to FLOWER to HARVEST... iloveyou |

I have grown from both seed and clone and now use clones only except when Im looking to get a mother for a new strain. I find clones to actually be stronger healthier plants then seeds plants. Clones most relevant qualities for me are that they grow so fast, are mature as soon as they roots and you you know the exact needs of a clone type plant as you have worked with it before and know its wants and needs.Seeds do take along time to grow and you do get variations in each seeds you plant which can be good or bad.It all comes down to your needs I think. If you wan the fastest turn around with a proven result and known results you grow from clone. If you have time and paitience to add that extrat few moths to your grow then seed can be for you.Yield wise I dont think there is enough difference realy to say one way or the other as with clones you select the best of the best and with seed it all a crap shoot the seed may not have the higher yielding gene you want but maybe has another trait you like so it can become a new breeder. For me though clones are the best and only way to grow steadily
