Girls looking FAT!!! Can you help with strain...got some purple.. all FLOWERS!!!

Hey there....I am in about week 12 or about in my 1st outdoor grow. Ive posted pics if you want to check them out. I have 2 plants in the ground, and 4 girls in pots. I havt LST'd one of the pit plants, and one of the plants that are in the ground. The LST plant that is in the ground is the one showing pruple hairs in its buds.

Any opinoins as to the strains I am looking at would be helpful. The 2 real fat ones I 12/12'd on my own for about 4 weeks and then let mother nature take over...hence the but of revegging.

Woudl love to hear what you think about the grow, the strains, and the approx date I should harvest. I am in New England.

What is the purple strain? Thats the biggest ques I have.

Hey dude, they need a long time yet, at least 3 - 4 weeks more mabe even 5. they can get alot bigger. and as to the strains-who knows
they can be anything. and the purple hairs that doesn't mean the plant will finish purple, it could be phosphorus in the ground or in the nutes you have been feeding it,or cool nights that have changed the hairs that color.

ya man, your plant still needs a while. let it go as long as it can before the frost comes depending on where your at
as for the purple, probly the chilly nights. phosphorus deficiency turns stems purple at first in my xp. if you really have to feed, do it at very low doseage, since your going to harvest within a month or so... youll want them to flush the nutes out of their systems.
they look good tho. you will want to harvest when the trichomes are milky, just go to radioshack if you have one and get a 60-100x pocket microscope with a light for 13 bucks, youll need 2 AAA batteries too. its very nifty, its fun to look at your buds up close they look alien. if you dont want to shell out the cash, wait until 30-50% of the hairs are amber, even then thats not as accurate as the trichomes being milky thats the true sign of highest thc content.

hey, thx or the comments. i figured I still had a month or so. I am in New England, so figured middle to end of Oct for harvest. I did pick up the microscope you mentioned...and the trichomes are still clear.

I have 3 gals side by side in my garden and 1 turned purple like yours. Ive been told it is a random phenotype. All my seeds came from the same bag and none of that schwag was purple lol. What does that mean? You bud has pretty hairs nothing more, nothing less.

the hairs will brown or orange off they wont stay that way when its ready for harvest trust me i had DARK purple hairs on mine and there going brown nown

So I went out to nute/water them today. colas are starting to fatten up on the 3 plants I 12/12d a while back. the plant in the pot with no alterations is filling in nicely as well. see pic. the purple haired flowers are not as fat. the taller plant in the ground is starting to fill out as well..possibly as many as 4-5 colas. Currently I am using FF tiger Bloom, Big Bloom and I am on my second use of Ch-Ching.

I used the microscope to look at trichomes, and mostly all clear still. I planned on flushing in or around Oct 8th, thinking Oct 30 I should expect harvest. Any comments?

Take a look and let me know what you think. If you have any guesses on yield of harvest..let me know..this is my first grow and I have no idea what to expect.
