total darkness for 24hrs

ive heard that if your outdoor plants are flowering late, that you could put them in complete darkness for 24hrs and it would induce flowering. has anybody ever heard of this?

from what i gather your better off being patient ,,instead if trying to screw around and make a possible hermie seedy bud plant..also do you know the sex of your plant yet....males sometime like to hold out til late in season to drop them balls...all of mine have started budding..

I agree. I think Nature or Natural is the best route to go

My males usually show prior to females. However, I have seen a male a time or two take longer than females to show sex. I have heard of someone putting a black trash bag over a plant for 24hrs. The next morning it was a hermie

All of my gurls are flowering. My males have already shown as well. All did prior to my gurls.
