Default Spring Harvest
The photoperiod hour spread necessary to naturally initiate flowering occurs twice yearly. Anyone ever harnessed the power of the outdoor sun (via greenhouse/hardening/etc) in the spring to get a harvest? What if you vegged indoors and dropped plants outside 2 months before the spring equinox and pulled a thick yield around april 20th. Just a thought, any one have experience winter outdoor/ spring harvest?

Im talking about planting plants or placing them outside in a greenhouse under natural light during winter. To produce a harvest during the time when the natural light cycle is near 12/12 so that plants flower. Like, its summer in southern hemisphere, only the temperature is different. Like august to november is the same as february to may, just going in the opposite order of light hour changes. Thus you could get buds in the spring if you had a heated greenhouse or lived in a temperate climate. ideas?

Yeah I have done this before. Check grow journal in my signature.

I harvested 8 ounces of White, and Purple Widow, June 1st.

Just veg them indoors, then toss them out as soon as you can. I live in the south so temps warm up in early march, so thats when I put them outside. Just in time to let the sun flower them for me.
