I sure this is a pretty basic question(and i am pretty sure they still grow).....but i was just wanted to double check

do you live in england, anyway you cannot start to grow outside cos if you put a plant outside this time of the year the plant will go straight into flower. and plus like you say its now to cold and cloudy, and the days arnt long enuf. get a cheap flo for now from your diy store there only about £10 each.

Yea, they will. It's the same principle where you can get a sunburn when it's cloudy out; the sun's rays penetrate the clouds.

were are you from it depends on that i suppose, if it was england. then no. not till spring, but isnt it like that in most places.?.

They won't grow in the winter, but in the proper growing period they will grow if it's cloudy.

Thats what I thought...but sometimes i doubt myself

what if it snows or somthing.

That's why I said "they won't grow in the winter".

ive gotten 3rd degree sunburn on a cloudy fuckin' day so id say hell yeah. but like bay legacy said, they wont grow during the colder parts of a year. thats because the plants systems go dormant like it were hibernating
