im in NE aswell and im in the seedling/planing phase of my 5th grow(only one complete success, one withe a few shortcomings and a handful of failures to learn from)

my plan is to build platforms up in tall trees in the middle of nowhere and plant my babies in 3-5g buckets and only go feed them when theres a drought. right now im trying to figure out the best way to minimize my time at the grow sites. looking into aqua globes so i dont need to water very often. im also going to make sure the soil is rich and toss a bannana peel and some eggshells in for good measure

strains that are good for our climate are northern lights, ice or any hearty indica sativa hybrid. i personally just hunt for the best bagseeds i can find and give them goofy strain names. im too paranoid (and broke) to order seeds offline

theres a ton of strains and million different way to go about this. Really you need to research your area talk to local farmers and gardeners. I would also suggest the book jorge cervantes indoor/outdoor medical marijuana bible this will give you ALOT of pricless information you'll need if you really want be sucsesful.

with that said I can help you to an extent I dont know your climate or your month to month growing season so I can only base iot on mine and you'll have to adjust it to your own. Now strain choice is VERY important and you cant always get want you want you'll want to look for strain tha suite your needs and climate. you may have to sacrifice potency or somthing else for a plant that will reach full maturity in your climate...I can only grow a strain if the 8 weeks of flowering ends in september this way wether permitting I could leave it into october for more resin. my grow season sarts indoors around march and ends outdoors at the end of september/mid october but i buy plants that end early in september to make sure they have more than enough time to mature. The strains also must have good mould/pest resistnce and have to be hardy so that I dont have to tend to them everyday or every week. This year I chose greenhouse seed co's Great White Shark and White Rhino both strains are hardy, resistant to mould, fully mature by the end of september (which is half a month early), and yeild up to 800g per plant. All these factors need to be taken into account.

You'll need good nutes I'm guessing this will be a guerilla style grow and I'll suggest you get a good time release nutrient this year I'll be using heavy harvest from advanced nutrients it's a 1 part grainuler nutrient that comes in three stages spring, summer, and fall. This nutrient alone will do the job but I would suggest using some extras with it personally im usisng piranha, turantula, voodoo juice, carboload, and big bud... piranha and turantula are live cultures to inncoulate the soil to help your plant thrive using microbes and benificial fungi to promote healthy, thriving plants. voodoo juice is kinda the same thing that makes the roots explode with growth and enhances the yeildof your plants by letting the uptake more nutrients and the bigger the roots the bigger the plant and better the yeild..You take care of your roots and it'll take care of you plant x100. carboload feeds the microbes and fungi in the soil and is benificial to the plant also..big bud is just that a bloom enhacer "suposedly" the best there is. so somthing long these lines is what your looking for theres plenty of other way to go also you could go completly organic and thats a whole other world.

personally you'll need to hide your plants and NEVER EVER put them in rows or any type of formations just randomly plant them in bushes so they become part of the bush once they grow larger and be aware of what it'll look like a few months down the rd what plants will get bigger, in the fall what plants will dissapper what colors will still be around... you just have to be very smart here the better you hide your shit the less chance of getting ripped off or getting put in handcuffs

anything else you need just get at me
