I just found a couple lady bugs on my plant. Are they bad or good? I hear they eat other bugs, is that true?

I'm assumnig you have your plants outside right? If so mix water & regular soda pop (50/50) and spray it on the Lady Bugs. The sugar in the soda will cause the Lady Bugs wings to stick together for a few days so they can not fly away. If they stick around long enough they will call it home.
