I bought this as a clone at a medical co-op. Thet told me it was Purple Erkle. But I dont know.

I was outside admiring it yesterday and noticed that the stems were turning a purple/lavender color. And it iseems that it is starting to spread into the spines of some of the leaves giving them a purpleish hue (You can kinda see some of them in pic below) . Ive never grown any purple before .Is this generally how the plant turns purple? Can I expect it to spead into the buds and eventualy turn them purple or would they have already started turning the pistels purple. (They are more reddish now)

Below is a pic of a bud picked off that tree and quick dried yesterday. It looks like the purple was beginning to creep up this stem. Can anyone tell me, does this look like purple erkle to you? Curious to know if I really have what Ive been told.

I've had purple erkle before and it looked very similar but i've never seen an actual plant. Whatever it is it looks delicious and I'm sure if the club told you it was purple erkle it most likely is. If i can remember the taste was really fruity with a smooth smoke. Hope this helps.

I got my 30X magnifier in today and checked out the trichromes on this baby. The stalks on the trichromes at the tips of the bud leaves are a dark purple. It looks like its starting at the tips and gradually will hopefully turn all the trichromes a purple color.
Pretty cool. Im taking my growing to a whole new level with the help of this site and everyone on here.Thanks

yeah here is my plants that I have outdoors...They also have a lot of purple in them is this a good thing?

alot of people in CA go crazy for "purp" many different strains contain purple and i believe its caused by stress, for example someone could not water there plant as often and the plant could stress out and create purple. But weather its better or worse is all based on opinion and thc potency. BTW NICE PLANTS!!!!!!!! i wish i could get some of ur buds!
