I also had an idea that is pretty extreme but it may work.
If you can imagine the design of a skateboard ramp you could build that kind of structure cheaply out of plywood,if you built 4 of them and placed them around your plant and weighted the bottoms with sandbags the wind would be redirected up the concaved shape
