Default Will this be done before weather is too cold?
This plant was started last october inside, budded it once, took most of buds off and put it back into veg. Vegged it until June and put outside. It is about 7 feet tall and at least 5 feet wide. It took about 12 weeks inside once flowering and it has now been flowering for about 3-4 weeks. I am located in New England and soon cold weather will set it in. Is it alright if it is out when the first frost comes. Let me know how it looks and if you think it will be ready before the weather gets too cold. From what I hear I may have at least another month left before the first frost.

thats at 3 or 4 weeks flowering??? are you sure??? it seems like its not getting enough light... this is what mine look at for 4 weeks flowering and im in a cold climate too.. i am also worried... maybe your only at 1 week... the female preflowers can show a long time before the actual flowering takes place...

It may only be actually budding for a couple weeks, it has been at least 3-4 weeks since i have seen white hairs on it. I am fairly new to growing, only one successful indoor harvest, which included this plant. Inside i only got about a half ounce and the plant was only 2 feet tall. It is in a very small opening in the middle of the woods, so it may get at most 4-5 hours of direct sunlight. Supposively it is a cross of haze and northern lights, that is what i was told from the person i received the seeds from. The harvest indoors was awesome, some of the best herb i have toked. Hopefully the weather holds out for a while if it is really only in the first couple weeks of budding.

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to set up some sort of frost prevention/greenhouse to help my plant handle the upcoming weather. I tied my plant down so it is not as tall, but i am worried about my plant being more noticeable with a plastic enclosure. Does anybody think this is worth it, or should it be fine without it. It needs to stay out til at least the end of october. Will this make it alot more noticeable for helicopters flying over.

dude thanks! this is my first grow.. it got down to about 35 last night but it seems my plants are totally fine. it also seems that because of the cold weather the pear shaped things (i forgot what they are called) have turned wayyyy purple. not just the pistills anymore but the whole bud... do you think this could be from the cold weather?

yeah its prolly only at week two MAX. it has a longggg way to go. you should get harvest if it doesnt get too cold... and i think a better idea than a green house would be a brown burlap bag and you could spray paint it all woods like and put that over it every below freezing night. then you would have to take it off every morning.. could you do that without being seen?
