I am new also. I have a four footer and consider it short. I don't think you can do anything to speed growth except firtalize.

how cold, and what kind of strain? When was it planted?

If the plant gets 24 hour light, it will grow faster. IF it hasn't flowered, you could add more nitrogen, but do not overwater. SensiCal has Stage 1 for growth, and stage2 for flowering. Find a hydroponics store in your area, and they should be able to give you valuable advice. Hope it helps.

make it stay short by puting a string on the top and pulling it over, towards the midday sun.

Hey I have or had a plant about4' outside since spring. I live In Maryland. I figured I should dig it up and put it into a 3 gal pot so I can bring it in when it got cold. Is this not a good Idea? I think I killed it . I hope it will sprout new leaves and come back..

Here is another Question. My plant WAS 4' tall and never grew a bud. However I dried the leaves and got a nice buzz. Was told it was a male. How do I tell if it is F/M?
