Here's some pics of what I'm working with. That's my guard kitty in the back. Her name is Tuesday. She acts more like a dog than a cat, she follows me or my son everywhere we walk in the neighborhood, even into the woods.
I need to get a thermometer because I'm not sure how warm my very drafty greenhouse is. It seems pretty warm when I'm standing next to the heater but I just don't know, the plants seem to be growing again, they had stopped it seemed after I transplanted them into pots from the ground after the weather kept getting shittier. I still see some white hairs coming off the buds and the trichs look like they are cloudy but I haven't checked with a microscope yet.
I have to go out of town in about a week, I think I'm gonna chop them right before I go because I'd be scared the circuit will blow or the power will go out for something and my plants will freeze, that is unless the weather gets better, which I highly doubt. I know I'm done trying to grow sativas in the midwest.

I might just convert my grow to indoors when it is toooo tooo cold to continue....the weather for the next week is supposed to be 50+ and sunny, and then in the low 40's at night, so im going to try another week outdoors, and Delta your cat tuesday is sick haha, i wish my cat was a guard cat like that, and now i see what you mean by greenhouse...do you have alot of acres in indiana to be able to do that? or do you not really need that much land to build a greenhouse like that? and DUDE DONT GIVE UP YOUR GROW...i feel like its possible to make it still....if the weather does get to bad i will move my babies inside.

cold weather is going to make your plant purple anyhow so its not about the strain and i understand the lake effect because im right across the lake from you bro lol

Don't have a bunch of acres. I next to a ditch and gasline easement and then another ditch so I have one neighbor who is a nice old lady, her husband just died of cancer. Even if she knew what I was doing I don't think she'd really care. She is an avid gardener, mostly I talk with her about gardening so she either thinks I just garden vegetables or she is wise to the whole scene and knows why I take such an interest in gardening. I can't be for sure. Anyways I'm good on this location. I have had a nice 3 seasons here and now we are moving so I will have to find a new place to grow.

My cfl medi growbox is in a unheated greenhouse (don't ask me why). Cold weather is setting in and I was wondering if I could put in one of those propagation heating pads to keep my plants warm during the time the lights are off.

The roots will be warm, but the plant itself will be affected by the cold. A propagation mat is not a big heat output device and is meant for liner containers(shallow), nothing bigger. It can't heat the soil of a 1 or 3 gallon pot.

If ur greenhouse isn't too big...I'd slip a portable heater in there instead.
