question for you experienced foks...
I am 2 1/2 weeks into 12/12 and was going to harvest the last of her. But wanted some insight.
Please let me know what you think as far as how much to clip off before I throw her into a light closet back to 16/8 hours?

I know here roots are able to drown her now so little water but was wondering the effect the blue light or 5500 color will do to the existing buds? And how much or which ones to clip before tossing her into my grow cab?
regards

yeah bro, you sound like you got a whole bunch of things mixxed up. Your rejuvenating that plant? You need to start fresh in your grow cab. Or continue flowering that one in your grow cab, with 12/12.

Well here is the thing I put her in June 10 there about. I then checked trichromes and they were all cloudy and going red. 9-20 (see pic) I harvested about a zip been burning--taste a little homie but fast to let down.

Newbie obvy- but is it the Tri's I look at? and how long should I have waited or wait? in the flowing cycle? how many weeks?
Please advise appreciate it.

She has ALWYAYS been outside i brought her in for a day cause of the rain--- she is outside and I can park her right back where she was but the Tri's are cloudy and red specked?
My closet has starters waiting to sex then she is going in with the others. I seem to start em and veg em but a bit unsure of when "peak of ripeness" arives? Need help from Joe the green grocier HAHA!__ Appreciate the heads up.--- From signature pic to a now she has been looking good.
I may have some kick ass 15%er or more if I knew WTF I was doing.:wall:
Right now it does not help my joints only a good head buzz but quick to go. Premi huh?

forget about the cabinet right now.. the sun is still shining and I will put her in a cab after I trim it back some more. Question is how long into flowering is appropriate? Thanks again

some strains take 6 weeks some take 16 weeks...depends what you are growing. I wouldn't trim anything back until your almost finished.

ok so after doing some searching I have found that on my part of the world July 31st was about the last day for a 14 hour day. I read that flowering takes about 8 weeks give or take a 10 days. So AUG and SEP put me at 8 weeks then at the end of September we went to 12 hours of light and has been like that for 2+ weeks.

So 2.5 weeks into flowering would not be quite accurate, as I read it starts after 14 hours of light diminish....

I also read that if the weather is under 80and the light is less then 12 or no more I should state. I have the possiblility to get a plan that can self pollinate. giving me a feminized seed. Not trying to do that but rather maximise harvest and re veg then reflower her. Does anyone have any idea what I am driving at and how or what I should address. New to this but love the science of it.

You would be better off to start from scratch then to try and re-veg a plant that has already flowered. I think it's possible but takes a REALLY long time.

i was under the impression I will get a 2 week shock period then vegetation will commence? Thanks for your input though. I still have not got a anyone who knows the time flowering starts and when it is at its end. People just say 8 to 10 weeks,
but is that from 14 hour daylight and less ?

Yeah...dude, your plants aren't 2.5 weeks into flowering.

If they are outside and you are in Cali and you planted them in June....they are almost done and should be about 8 weeks into flowering now. Maybe 9 weeks.

Revegging is pointless, it takes longer than starting new plants and doesn't have any other outstanding benefit. Just chop the whole plant up, go to a dispensary, get some clones and grow those indoors.

Im not sure there are enough leaves left on those girls for regeneration. If you want to do that dont cut off any more leaves. How did you check the trichs?

Good luck!

thanks for the reply on time length. I thought I was there with the tri's the color they are. The First clip The Tri's were good and now the little stuff that you see is now ripe too.
I guess you may be right about the re-veg thought it may help get beefy buds? But I do and did have concerns about bringing my outside inside as there may be bugs in the outside soil and the inside is sterile.

So pull her and hang her.... I loved her but now I have to kill her. LOL!
Any suggestions on dark out or 24 hour dark time before pulling?

Thanks and regards:bigjoint:
