Hey peeps,
I've attached some pics of some bagseed Sativa I planted out in manured soil back in April. They're about 2 weeks into flowering but now the October rains have started which is a cause for concern especially because of budrot. My question is, the 3 footer in the small planter has all it's fan leaves turning yellow which is normally a sign of N deficiency but hopefully because the plant is channelling the N from the fan leaves into bud production. Can anyone tell from this pic whether I need to feed more or less, bearing in mind the planter is quite small so might have salts build up and therefore inefficient root feeding capacity? I've been using a light feed of Bio Flores (and a sprinkling of Bat Guano) once or twice a week for a month or so and just started light foliar feeding the other day. The same seeds were planted in the flower bed but are still looking lush and green. This is my first grow so I'm aware of some mistakes, like planting too close together. I've also included a couple of close ups of the bud sites on the large plants, I'm really hoping there'll be one more sunny week just to boost them, especially as this looks like a pure sativa that's used to much warmer climates with longer autumn days. Any hints tips most welcome. Thanks all Last edited by ThriftyEddy; 10-05-2009 at 09:40 AM.. |

yo man, i've also got a plant growing in SE england. Literally just left it outside and gave it some tomato fertilizer every couple weeks when i was back at the garden it was growing in. Its a Sativa too, she's about 8 weeks into flowering and coming on nicely with buds, but still another 4+ weeks until they're properly big.... I see this post was over a month ago now, have you harvested? how are they looking?
