a buddy of mine told me that I shold be plucking the sun leaves (the leaves that produce the shugars of the polant...the really big ones)when buds start to form so it can grow in essance bigger buds....now I dissagree due to the purpose of the leaves during fruiting..so tell me what u all think.....thank u..smoke on..peace

My opinion is to leave them. Those leaves grow for a reason, I dont think that reason is for them to be picked off. If they were not needed, I am sure nature and evolution would not grow them.

If they are dieing, then by all means pull them off.

Just my 2 cents.

False important role of transferring Co2 to o2. The harder they work the better the bud. If the plants were more efficient without them, they would fall off.

Removal of healthy leaves hacks up a healthy plant. Removing large fan or shade leaves DOES NOT make plants more productive. Plants need all their leaves to produce the maximum amount of chlorophyll and food. Removing leaves slows chlorophyll production, stresses the plant, and stunts it's growth. Remove only dead leaves or leaves that are more then 50 percent damaged.

I thought so..THANK U all for the info it is much appreciated.....not to be disagreeable(for lack of better words) but.......do u aall think that it will make a difference, say a week from harvest, to take them off, AND, all the other leaves ...would that make a difference to make the buds burst the final week..??smoke on...peace..

I just take off the yellow brown looking ones that are close to falling off anyways. You see more towards the end.
