There are over 2000 known/named strains of marijuana plus those created by basement/hobby breeders that do not have names and are total unknowns to most people plus all those created by accidental pollination that can at times be from an unknown source so those strains would also be unnamed and unknown and that means the chance of anyone getting even half close to correctly guessing what strain you are growing is so slim as to make an anorexic girl look like the Goodyear blimp in comparison.

Sativa is one of the families of marijuana, not a strain, plus there are sativa/indica crosses that can look somewhat to very to totally sativa-like).

You may have managed to reduce the possibilities of what actual strain the person is growing down to around only about 900 or so different strains.

thats a no brainer! its gotta be " maui gold" , dont listen to what anybody else says about it being impossible to determine strains by theyr apperance, its actualy easy !

i have a maui strain....it looks very similar to what you have...however, im not the best judge of strains...before i started growing, I didn't even know what a plant looked like
