my friend has a couple of hermies in his crop thats hes keeping a distance away from his females.... they are around 25 feet away, is this far enough away to prevent pollenation? how far can a male or hermie spread pollen?

pollen can travel up to a few hundred yards! If I were you , I'd highly suggest to your neighbor, "what the fuck are you trying to do here"? What is his purpose for saving them? Is he willing to compensate you if your crop goes south because of wanting to let his"hermies" grow? If not ask him nicely to remove them, and if he doesn't......take a machete to them yourself!!!!
