This is my first grow..I'm ready to chop it down but I want to get some feedback first..

Nice and fat.....Have you been giving it some xtra "N"? How do the trics look under a scope?
That plant does not look ready to me.

You need to look at the trics with a scope. It could be ready, but just looking at it I say no. Maybe a few weeks more.

start the flushing in a few days and in about 6-8 days from now chop her down and dry that beast
