I started a grow outside in July and I was wondering if I could leave it till next years harvest?

I have a plant that I started in november. It didn't flower because It was kept in the house with the lights on and stuff, I only put my best plants in the dark room every night. Well I put her in the ground beggining of july, now she's about a 5X5 bush lookin real nice.

What area will keep a mother plant alive for 3 years outdoors? Frost?

If u live in south fl or tx or any border state u cood cut the buds off and leave as many leaves on it as possible and i think i wood live

keep those roots healthy and it might live that long.
