i've been very busy this morning. photobucket is down for maintenance so this is a teaser post. i have dug 1 hole so far and have made my trip to home depot. my yard is a mess and i have to be at work in the morning. i'm watching a little bit of this race then i'm going back out. i have been taking pics, i just can't post them yet.

ground was soft this morning. i went out in my jammies to have a smoke and the next thing i knew the hole was dug.










took a shower and cleaned up. went to home depot and got 2 bags of miracle grow garden soil and a bag of perlite. i will mix these with some of the native soil. i get tired these days so i found someone to do the mixing for me. i call him Mr. cement mixer. lol

he does his job well........





she is just dieing to get into the ground. literally. this pot is to small. she is not root bound just wilting in the bright sunshine. poor girl. so i backfill the hole halfway then set the potted plant in the hole. fill in around it completely packing the soil as i go.

then simply pull the pot out of the hole.....




then pull the plant out of the pot. i like to ever so gently claw into the roots just to break the tips. this should cause some new growth.





then drop her in the hole and add any needed soil to level things out.
