If you want to speed up your veg growth, try putting it in a location with more direct sun, like 13-15 hrs. you'll see a huge growth spurt, guarenteed.

Start giving them well water distilled water or ro water I can't say from experience but I heard water filters like that are a no no and as they said more light. And mg is ok but if u can get ahold of some better soil or compost that couldn't hurt either.

I've also read it has a lot of hybrid vigor and grows quickly. I tried compost with one plant but it seems to have had too much sulfur in it, and development was stunted surely.

Would it be best slowly start adding more hours of sun? or start all at once.

How often are you watering it? I had an outdoor one that was in a really damp area and the soil was always soggy even though it was in the sun almost all day. The plant was stunted its whole life. I dont water until the top of the soil is dry but still damp about an inch down or so. May not have anything to do with ur particular problem but its the only thing i can come up with from my prior experiences.
